JJS Transportation is seeking a coordinator in our Kearny, NJ office to handle all aspects of the logistics
of our family-owned and operated transportation company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Train, on-board and provide support for our dispatch/operations teams and drivers on our
    logistics technology system (Profit Tools).
  • Coordinate requests for training and reporting with our software providers.
  • Troubleshoot issues whenever possible.
  • Manage bug reports from reporting to resolution.
  • Work with the Director of Logistics and other members of senior management team to suggest
    process improvements, continually optimize routing and improve efficiency.

Qualifications and Required Skill Sets:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Information Technology.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a logistics related position.
  • At least 12 months' experience with transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Profit Tools system a plus.
  • Extremely organized, with high attention to detail and impeccable record keeping.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively (team player).
  • Excels in working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Professional communication style and demeanor at all times.
